(HP 6510b) is unfortunately not so extensive system of gestures, as in Mac OS X, but it's better than nothing. You can scroll with two fingers, three can fire off an application and handle photo and slideshow. Unfortunately I do not work advertised by Synaptics possibility zooming and rotating images and PDFs.

GRUB Error 18 on March 24, 2010
Posted by artiko in: Linux , add a commentInstalling Debian Lenny now at 250 GB. Due to the application I created only one partition for data (dealing with almost all the space), and SWAP. Imagine my surprise when, after a successful installation and reboot after loading the GRUB error appeared:

As you read the documentation , it arises when GRUB tries to load the kernel, which is located too far from the beginning of the disk (the problems older BIOSes to use large disk).
My solution was to create an additional partition at the beginning of the disk, with a capacity of 512MB (much more than needed) and there mount /boot . The rest of the disk already in its sole discretion. Probably there are several possible solutions, but this is proven, if you are using older hardware.

First some information. WordPress recommends storing subsequent versions of plug-in tags, tags directories in a folder in our repository. Their names should be, as it is usually with software, digital sequential and always, for example: 1.0, 2.1, 3.5.7. The trunk folder is best to keep the current development version.
To give the plugins directory to know which version is our current stable, select it in the Stable tag in the file readme.txt in your trunk. WordPress will provide users with the same version of the plugin.

On this occasion, I experienced a strange anomaly in the operation of WP Super Cache plugin and Global Translator. Namely, their cache directories-u began to be writable and in no way I could change their attributes. I could not even delete them ... As well as their content. The strangest thing is that it started to behave just the two folders (gt-cache and cache) in wp-content folder. All other plugins to work properly, they could freely edit directories.
The only thing I could do with them, to change their names. It has helped me save operation of the service during peak hours. After changing the name of these two plug-ins turned off and turned on again. This allows the folders have been re-created by WordPress'a, and plug-ins began to function properly.
